Sony x Marvel

From what I’ve learned, Spider-Man will return for two more MCU movies, played by Tom Holland.
One of the movies will be a third MCU Spider-Man film, which is good since there were clearly plans for a Spider-Man trilogy as far back as 2016. The third movie will be released July 16, 2021.
Deadline reports that Disney will be 25% invested in the movie (funding 25% of the budget, taking 25% home), which is lower than the 50% that originally turned Sony away, but still a significant increase from their investment in the previous movies.
As for the other movie, it’s not decided. From what I’ve read, it sounds like the MCU could simply have Spider-Man in an Avengers movie for fun.
Those are the basic terms.
