Terrible discoveries by Stephen Hawking

15 mysterious radio signals would arrive from a dwarf galaxy 3 billion light years away.
Stephen Hawking, the genius of astrophysics who occupies the chair of Isaac Newton in Cambridge, has perhaps discovered, in the Universe, what he is most afraid of: traces of alien life.
With a warning that leaves us worried, Hawking has long advised against contacting aliens: "Ignore them, we do not respond to those messages, they would have the same interest in us as we have for bacteria, and if we were happy with them they would treat us like Christopher Columbus treated the natives he met in the new world. " In spite of everything, a meeting seems impossible.
In fact, radio signals travel at the speed of light and those just picked up were emitted 3 billion years ago, when the Earth was 2 billion years old and housed only single-celled life forms.
"If an alien sent them, it has long since died and, if we send an answer, our civilization will be reduced to dust when it is delivered."
By tuning into 10 billion different frequencies, scientists are examining the 100 galaxies closest to us with the help of 9 million volunteers, who are making their computers available worldwide to help the research center examine the data. .
Where the signs could come from
The signals, in this case, were picked up by the Green Bank Telescope in West Virginia, the first time in 2012. In 2015 and 2016 the source of the signal was still active and it was excluded that it could be impulses coming from "a ' random explosion of a supernova ".
These could be due, it is assumed, to energy sources used by aliens to move their vehicles, but the hypothesis that they come from a neutron star, one of the strangest celestial bodies in the Universe, is also being studied.
Steven Hawking is sure that extraterrestrial life forms exist somewhere in the galaxies.
But he is also convinced that if we were to discover them, it would be better not to be discovered accordingly: "The aliens could come to visit us, and we would not like it at all".
