Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande and their first collaboration “Stuck With U” is at No. 1 on the new Hot 100 Billboard, giving both another leader on the all-genre singles ranking.
“Stuck With U” is the sixth hit for Bieber and the third for Grande.
Bieber has now reached the Hot 100’s penthouse as a lead act “What Do You Mean?,” “Sorry” and “Love Yourself,” in addition to this week’s controller. As a featured act, the Canadian pop star has reigned supreme with collaborations with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee (“Despacito”) and DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Chance the Rapper and Quavo (“I’m the One”).
Grande has only shot to No. 1 with singles she fronts, and neither of her previous leaders feature anybody else. Also, coincidentally, all three of her Hot 100 No. 1s started off in the driver’s seat, a very impressive feat. The pop star has now pushed to the top of the tally with “Thank U, Next” and “7 Rings,” both featured on her album Thank U, Next.
“Stuck With U” beats another brand new release that was competing for the Hot 100’s throne, but which falls just shy of running the show. Hip-hop musician 6ix9ine launches his cut “GOOBA” at No. 3 on the list this frame.
